Film music will be the main subject of EMMA 2010 which will take place in a magic location, the Old Palace in Limenaria of Thasos.
Students, composers, performers, film directors, sound designers and music producers together with the participants and the audience create an interactive forum and exchange ideas on film music.
Distinguished artists from Greece, France, U.S.A. and Great Britain as well as students and artists from London’s National Film and Television School share their experience, and give seminars as well as concerts, showing the special role of music and sound in the seventh art.
EMMA 2010 is honored by the presence of Trevor Jones, film music composer of international acclaim, who has composed famous soundtracks such as The last of the Mohicans, Cleopatra, In the name of the Father, Mississipi Burning, Notting Hill, Excalibur, Cliffhanger and many others.
